Ok, I finally got the optolong clip-in filter for my ff camera (canon 6d) and I have a really stupid question, but it's been bugging me for quite some time. (I apologize in advance for my bad translation ahead)
When installing, you lock the mirror, insert the filter itself, and then turn off the lock. Because of this, the mirror goes down, rests against the filter and presses it slightly, holding it in place. Question: is there any possibility that with prolonged use this "forced lock" can damage the camera? Most likely, this is just my paranoia, but I want to sleep peacefully.
And yes, I guess that using the standard shooting mode is a bad idea (due to the constant movement of the mirror), but if I'm wrong - please correct me. Thanks in advance!
