Messier 7 is one of the brightest open clusters of the Messier Catalog, and is also, with Dec=-34°45’, the most southern object of the Messier Catalog. It is only visible in a narrow time window (about 1h) from my location. M7 contains aboit 80 stars with mag 10 or brighter and its distance is about 5000 light years. The small globular cluster NGC6453 is also visible on this picture. Its distance is approximately 37000 light years.
