I recently found out about telecentric lenses and was wondering if anyone has used one for astro. Would it just be pure black? A blurry mess? Or least likely a stinking close-up?

Anyone using a TV 4x PM is using a telecentric lens. Same would apply using one of the DayStar Quark Interference filters/EPs, as far as I understand it.
