My first attempt at astrophotography and there is lots of room for improvement but here it is.

- Limited data with only 22 lights. Run aborted because guiding stopped. Need dew straps.
- Focus needs to be better. Will likely add an EAF.
- Too much noise from the D90 which was never intended for this. Will drop ISO from 800 down to 400 next time but need to get a dedicated camera.

Rig:
- Apertura 90mm Triplet refractor
- ASI120MM Mini guide camera
- ZWO AM5 mount on carbon fiber tripod
- ZWO ASIAIR Plus
- Nikon D90

Very good first try, Rick, and welcome to the hobby!!!
You`ve got a lot out of 22 subs
I was more satisfied with my first images than I am now, because I got more experienced and started pixel peeping.

Excellent beginning, Rick. Seems you've identified things you want to fix - very good. You're at the right place for wonderful advice from a megaton of imagers. Welcome to the madhouse!

----MODIFICATION TO @Steve Solon and Terry Chatterton's COMMENT----

Excellent beginning, Rick (twirls mustache with thumb and forefinger). Seems you've identified things you want to fix - very good (smirks and snickers). You're at the right place for wonderful advice from a megaton of imagers. (yells) Welcome to the madhouse! (Makes Joker laugh that fades into distance)

Imagine if every person is welcomed like that , we'll soon be scaring every new person off astrobin.

Just my imagination, no offense meant.
