I’ve decided to switch to Stellarium for the image source with N.I.N.A. I tried it out today and got the message that I had to approve it in Stellarium. How do I do that?

I assume you've already selected Stellarium as the planetarium in Nina?
If that is done and the local windows firewall isn't blocking anything, then you need the "Remote Control" plugin setup in Stellarium
I'm guessing you have "access requires authentication" checked? As long as you don't keep your imaging PC on the internet, then you can just disable that.

Just a word of advice, if you're running stellarium on a remote PC, try to set a manual IP address in DHCP settings of your router. Sometimes the router will change the IP on you and you'll lose your connection to stellarium. I love this tool, very handy for framing my target. Both telescopes sit outside and both can communicate with stellarium on my desktop to acquire target position and framing

You can use Stellarium as a source for framing and coordinates, to import into the targets/framing wizard in NINA, and uses the Remote Control plugin and port setup in NINA.
You can also use Stellarium to show the current pointing location of the telescope (or even to point the telescope directly) using the Telescope Control plugin with the mount's ASCOM driver. NINA does not participate in this (though it shares access to the mount).
These are separate setups, some use one, some use the other, some use both. If using the latter with a driver that counts connections, like Astro Physics, bear in mind it creates an additional ASCOM connection to the driver if running (i.e. you might need to close stellarium to close the driver window).

Thanks, Folks for the additional information. I’m not sure that I’m using it correctly but I appear to be getting the coordinates into the advanced sequencer. I search in Stellarium for the object that I wish to photograph then switch to N.I.N.A. Clicking the little teardrop brings up the coordinates.
