Hello colleagues!
The use of a power supply is often a headache for amateur astrophotographers (my case) and I haven't found a topic where this is discussed.
I think it's a good idea to make a compilation of the schemes you use to power your equipment when you go to do astrophotography in the field and there is no access to a socket like at home, I think it can be very useful for many users and possibly for yourselves if you find an easier/lighter/cheaper way to power your equipment.
I think it would be useful to indicate the equipment to be powered so that everyone can check if this is the case for them. Also, I think that the most interesting thing about this topic is the way to connect things, and not so much the capacities and other technical data of the batteries, but all data is welcome.
Also, the motivation for this thread is that I am not entirely clear on how to connect a 12V battery to a laptop that requires 19.5V, I know what capacity to buy the battery but I don't know how to connect it. If you can help me with this I would really appreciate it.
Clear skies from Spain!
