Hey guys I need help. I'm doing a 10 hour project with my skywatcher 150/750mm and my dslr shooting at a dark nebula like the snake nebula. I basically don't know how to process this type of dark nebulas, I'm not sure if it requires some different techniques, idk please give me some advise on how to process it in photoshop

Good question. Is there any work flow for Pixinsight somewere? I don't know how to get that brownish golish tones in the black dust lanes.

For PixInsight, try this

Some of the process steps are outdated, and use scripts that may not work anymore, but the general flow should work.

You say you are  doing 10 hour project with my skywatcher 150/750mm and a dslr, but you don't mention the mount. Is your 10 hour total integration time of multiple exposures?  It seems a lot?

Assuming you are collecting enough long exposures, then you may want to try an alternative to photoshop. I would recommend Startools. It's easy to learn and inexpensive and has great tools for making the most of DSOs.
