Hi there!  I was looking on ways to improve my M13 image:

I was hoping to get some feedback on
-How to deal with some of the CA that arises from my doublet.
-Noise Reduction (too much?)
-Color accuracy (is M13 colored properly)

All suggestions welcome.  I've been processing this image for a while, but am unsure where to take it from here.

Thanks!

Could you post a hi-res version before you took out the noise? I think that could be done a bit differently.

Color accuracy is best done with PI PCC. Yours looks pretty good!

Sure, here it is.  I also uploaded another revision with a little different noise reduction.  I think it's an improvement.  Although I love my DSLR, it does generate quite a bit of noise...

New version looks great! I used to do DSLR imaging so I may have a noise trick for you. (-:

Unfortunately the above "here" link didn't work for me…

Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.
Make sure that you have the correct URL and the file exists.

You could separate RGB channels, re align them based on the Green and combine them again. Then the color aberration should be minimized.
