How to stack Perseid Meteor Frames?

This weekend I plan to put my Nikon DSLR on my tracking mount and capture a series of frames with (hopefully) several Perseid meteor tracks.

It occurred to me that I do not know how to stack these images.  If I use the regular OSC_Preprocessing script in Siril, it will see the meteor trails as anomalies (like satellite tracks or airplane lights) and remove them.

Does someone know how to stack while preserving the meteor trails?

Thanks!

You can't. One shot one go that's the rule.

So, for example, if the milky way was in your shot and you wanted to make that stand out, you could stack a series of shots inc the meteor shot in sequator - this keeps the meteor as is, stacks the milky way and reduces noise (as I understand it).

For multiple meteor shots, you could use photoshop. There are heaps of videos on Youtube to do this. From memory you have to mask the meteors.

Here's Nico from Nebula Photos' video from last year

Hope this helps
