As a proud new owner of a QHY600M that I use with my RASA 8", I am searching for unique targets that rarely get captured.
I have an assortment of filters from the standard RGB and SHO to exotic like the H-beta 5.5nm. My FOV is almost 4 to 5 arc minutes!
I hear about blue and red DSS surveys along with full color ones but does anyone know if a website that is a bit more interactive other than having to put in coordinates. I tried using SLOAN but it is not complete or at least it's interactive interface. Paid sources? I also own TheSky Imaging so does anyone know if the databases addon provides a similar functionality? I would appreciate any advise on this.
