Hi Everyone,

My name is Henny, just new to Astrobin. I did a Masters degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics in Amsterdam and got hooked on astrophotography a while ago. I live in a small city in the west of the Netherlands and image under Bortle 6 skies. I started off using a Celestron Nexstar Evolution 6 for planets and iOptron Skyguider Pro with Canon 7D and 70-200mm f/4 L for DSO work. Recently upgraded to a Skywatcher HEQ5-Pro Synscan GoTo in combination with a Zenithstar 73 (with flattener) and ZWO ASI533MC-Pro camera. Looking forward to share my first results with this new setup here with you all.

Regards,
Henny

Hi guys, thanks for welcoming me!

@John: I can imagine it is! I live in Purmerend, so unfortunately a lot of light pollution… Hopefully the IDAS NGS1 filter I am getting will make life a bit better (read some good reviews). But I definitely hope to get my equipment under some darker skies some day smile
