Hello everyone,
My name is Dave and I live in Oxford, UK. I am an absolute beginner at astrophotography but have become instantly, deeply addicted to taking photos of the sky! I can't get enough of it. I started off with an 8" dobsonian (Orion XT
and after being absolutely amazed that I could see the stars in such detail and struggling away holding up my phone to the eyepiece I decided that all I wanted to do was to photograph the night skies.
I have now got a Sky-Watcher EQ6R-Pro, Canon 600D with 50mm 1.4 lens and have an order on the way for an Esprit 100 ED.
I have been browsing through the forums and it looks like everybody here is very friendly and i can't wait to be a part of this community.
