Hi all,
At the merry age of 51, I have recently taken up astrophotography - and I'm totally hooked, even though my results are comme-ci-come-ça so far. I have acquired the necessities: A sturdy tripod, a Star Adventurer Pro pack, and I'm about to send my old trusty D600 to Spencer's for conversion. I am very much in the trial & error phase still, and have discovered that I really need an autoguider of sorts (Lacerta? ZWO ASIair Pro? The jury's out, it seems) to accomodate especially some of my longer focal length lenses for deep sky objects. I am very much looking forward to learn more from all of you seasoned and not-so-seasoned astro photographers on this site.
Thanks
