Camera lens to astro camera adapter

Hello everyone,

I've been doing a bit of wide field imaging with my 85mm Samyang and recently got a 135mm one as well. My problem is a choice of a camera lens adapter for my astro camera. I've purchased a cheap TS-optics adapter for Canon EF -> M48 but frankly it is not great. All my lenses fit very loosely on it. I've remedied that using some sticky tape but there is still some play in it. I'm thinking about getting a different adapter - perhaps the Artesky Canon EF -> T2 with filter drawer which goes for like $150. If there is no filter drawer, I'd need M48 to connect mine, so I do not think ZWO adapter fits.

Does anyone have experience with these and could suggest some other good options?

I got an adapter from FLO I believe, that replaces the bayonet on the 135 with an M48 thread. I have yet to be able to try it out, so can’t say how well it works except that everything connects very well with no typical flex at the bayonet adapter. Might be an option for you.

Wow, I never realized such adapters existed. Seems like a much more reliable solution, will give it a try.

I use the ZWO Nikon adapter. With my Samyang 135 there's a tiny bit of play but nothing that creates any problems as far as I know. I've only done a test image with this lens so far, but I did use it with my older Nikkor 135mm as well - without any hickups. It connects to my 8pos EFW and the camera.
