I know this post is old, are you still in the market?  I'm considering upgrading my equatorial mount soon.  Probably by early next year.  It's the iOptron SkyGuider Pro.  It has served me well, but my gear is reaching the weight capacity and the tracking is getting more difficult.  I live in New Braunfels, so not far from you.
