Hey there!

I am new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I 'm Max—a cinematographer, photographer, web designer, designer, artist, collector of vinyl records, aquarium enthusiast, husband, father, etc; currently in Austin, TX. I am looking to make some connections and learn as much as I can on here.

I have very little—basically no—hands-on experience with telescopes or DSO photography but I have been daydreaming about it for quite some time; so I know some of the basics. I'm now taking steps to learn all I can so when the time comes when I can afford my first setup, I'll be prepared.

My astrophotography experience is limited to photographing the moon, the christmas comet, and some other astronomical objects, long exposures, etc.
