Hello,
my name is Dominik.
I come from a small town near Frankfurt. The stars, our galaxy, and the Milky Way have always fascinated me. As a teenager, I got my first Newtonian telescope, which in retrospect was more bad than good. Nevertheless, I was able to observe the larger planets and our moon. Now, at almost the end of my forties, I have made it my hobby.
I started astrophotography almost a year ago and got my first APO (TS CF 80) Telescope in April 2022. I prefer to capture deep sky images and have since upgraded from a DSLR to an dedicated Astronomy Camera.
I am currently in the process of improving my capture techniques and image processing, hoping to push my personal limits further.
I wish you all clear skies and a wonderful time under the open sky.
Greetings
Dominik
