Hello from the Rio Grande Valley in deep south Texas. I am in a solid bortle 7 zone, and I have to pack everything into my bike trailer and pedal over to an open field near my home to do anything photography-wise. I am new to this hobby and digging it. As most people do, I'm starting with DSLR astrophotography since I already have the camera.

I invested in the iOptron Skyguider Pro tracker to go along with my Canon M6 camera.  I'll invest in some glass to do wide-field shots while poking around with my current lens.

This should be a fun and challenging hobby to keep me busy for a long time.

I would love to meet others in my area!

Cheers!
