Hello! This basically boils down to I am not entirely happy with the color, or lack there of in the center of the nebula. I think this is due to using an unmodified DSLR (Nikon D850). I edited it twice in Pixinsight with similar results so I don't think there is more red hiding away. Thoughts in general? Thanks!

Do you mind if I download the file and edit it and try to improve it?

Seems a little overexposed to me. It is red, only shifted towards white.

I think the pinkish hue is because of too much blue, I don't know why the center is B&W.

You might try using a range mask on the inner region, and then bring the brightness down.   What reds are available will then begin to pop a bit better.   Once you do the inner region work, you could experiment with inverting the mask and attempt to raise some of the fainter outer region.   I think there's still a bit of nebula out there to raise.    Good luck and CS,   Doug S.
