IR/UV cut filter query

I think I'm correct in saying that shots taken through my SD81S doublet, with my ASI2600MC camera, would benefit from the addition of an IR/UV cut filter. I have a couple of queries, however:-

1. Is there any benefit to using one with my R200SS Newtonian (used with a coma corrector)?
2. If I was shooting with my IDAS NBZ filter, would any IR/UV filter be rendered redundant (but could stay in place) or would it still give benefit?

I ask because where they'd be located, on the internal side of the flattener or coma corrector, I'd prefer to get one for each scope and just leave them attached permanently.

As far as i'm aware, the 2600MC has an IR cut filter within the protective window of the camera, so there's no need to use a separate one at all.

Doh. Sorry. I’d totally misread the specs. That sorts that one then!!

thanks for the response.
