PixInsight - WBPP strange masterlights

Hi everyone,

I never had such strange masterlights before.... all colors show the same vertical stripes in the center. I used biases, darks, flats and my lights of M82. L are the worst, Ha is similar to the others - no idea, what caused this effect.

Can you help me please? What went wrong, what to do to avoid it - as I said, I have processed hundreds of sets of data before but never had such a outcome!

Thanks and CS

Georg

For information, M82 as you can see, ASI183M with LRGBHa, exptime 60 and 120 seconds, Gain 100, offset 10, Lacerta Newton F:4.5/1250mmFL

If it is in the raw lights you might have an intruder near the focal plane. Oddily enough this might be a strand of spider's web. But is it in the unprocessed lights?

Hi, please try disabling the Linear Defects Correction in WBPP. This tool is suited for CCD sensors. As far as I know, CMOS sensors does not suffer from linear defects thus there is no reason  for enabling LDC in WBPP.

I don´t have any intruder or a spider web in the Newton...checked it. In the raw files - see screenshot, I do not see anything - here one of the L subs

I have processed all files in APP - with darks, flats and biases - and....guess... everything is fine, no vertical lines, nothing! See screenshot yourself- - so now my question: What the heck is going on in PixInsight to get those lines? No idea...

Thanks so much for this suggestion - it was exactly the LDC which caused that effect. I disabled it and the results are perfect!
