Star Adventurer autoguider or Right/Left buttons not working

Hi everyone

I own a SA pro for a couple of years now (so out of warranty).
The motor works fine when on celestial tracking mode and seems to work as fine on other modes.

But the Right/Left buttons have no effect. And the ASIair doesn't detect the SA when connect to the RJ-12 autoguider port.
Any idea what the issue can be?

Thé rj12 Autoguider port is supposed to connect to a guide camera with the same port, then the asi sends info through it. But you are best to connect the SA to the Air with usb. No idea about the buttons.

Yes, sorry, that was a shortcut in my question. The ASI is connected to the guide camera which is connected to the SA. But the SA remains undetected.
But it's a good idea, I'll try with the USB port
