Hey everyone. I'm an imager from the Bortle 7 suburbs just northeast of Baltimore, MD.  I've been here posting images just over a year, but only exploring the forums and introducing myself now.
I've always been a science nerd, love physics and astronomy.  Last summer I took a picture with my Nikon and kit lens from my backyard and just barely spotted the oval smudge of Andromeda.  That led me to a cheap 80mm and iOptron SmartEq Pro to see what I could do.  Things escalated quickly, and new equipment came shortly thereafter (and continues to trickle in).
I love seeing the images from everyone here… they give me ideas, inspiration, and goals.  Clear skies smile
