I've lurked on Astrobin for awhile admiring the images and researching various scopes. I'm very new to astrophotography and I'm currently putting together my starter setup. I have a Canon T7i with various lenses, a Skyguider Pro, decent tripod, and that's just about it. I do have a nice Newtonian Telescope and the ioptron CEM45G, but right now I'm going to focus on my starter setup. I was offered the Newtonian used and couldn't pass up the chance to get it lol.

I'm thinking of getting the Apertura 60EDR Kit since it comes with the field flattener and guide scope. None of my gear has had first light due to the bad weather Kentucky has right now.

I'm hoping to learn as much as I can though I know I'll learn best by doing. I'm hoping for clear skies on a night I don't have to work in the morning LOL.
