Hi all.
I am using a Nikon d3500 and a samyang 135 f2 lens on a swsa. I am very lucky to live on bortle 2 skies . I am quite new to this and I want your advice about my clip in duo narrowband filter . I have used it many times and I think it enhances the red on the nebulas but adds too much noise on my pictures. Tonight it’s the first night I shot without it - Pleiades- and the result was much better without it. My question is shall I use it for red nebulas like the heart, elephants trunk , spaghetti , flaming star , bubble nebula? Or am i best without it. I have a few clear nights ahead of me in the UK- very rare and I do not wish to ruin a night . Also I used it on andromeda and I am not sure I am pleased with it . Any advice welcome
