Hi folks,

Been on astrobin for a little while now but yet to check in on the forum, so I thought Id say hello!
Not been at it that long, put together my AP rig spring onwards really… its been a fun journey so far though.
I had a Celestron 127SLT setup (maksutov)  for some years and made one to two attempts to try and get something on my camera, but honestly I had no idea what I was doing, the mount shook and at that focal length and the alt az, was not going to help at all. I did get some decent shots out of it in the end, once I had got my head around a lot of other stuff, and a different scope smile
So the second scope and setup was bought after a lot of deliberation and research to make sure it was going to do what I wanted. I think its amazing what good kit and  todays sw tool & processing techniques can accomplish really, even in my light polluted back garden.

Heres my pcture of my AP setup;
