For those who are interested, I uploaded 4 calibration files from my new QHY600 to the Public Data Pool.    They are as follows...

00000001.A.Dark.fit - 60 second -20c gain 60 single dark frame
00000011.A.Dark.fit - 120 second -20c gain 60 single dark frame
00000021.A.Dark.fit - 300 second -20c gain 60 single dark frame
00000031.A.Bias.fit - Single bias frame -20c gain 60

These are each 118 mb files...of course they are...it's a honkin' big camera!

And, yes, they are real and they are spectacular!

BTW, when you go to download them, it will zip them up first.   I've noticed that it doesn't tell you when it's done zipping.  At some point, if you refresh your browser, it will show the zipped package and it will tell you that they are ready to be downloaded.   When you do, unzip them on your PC and they'll be ready to open in your favorite FITS software.

Hello Jay,

I'm new to Astrobin and I am thinking of buying a QHY600. Where can I find your darkframes resp. the Public Data Pool.
Sorry for that noob question. :-)

Sorry, unfortunately, Public Data Pools don't exist anymore on AstroBin. The functionality was removed a while ago due to little interest, and difficulty of maintenance.
