Gang, I'm wondering if anyone might have some suggestions for what is going on in my processing flow. Long story short - captured 3 hours of data using my OSC through an LeNhance filter. Nothing unusual about the settings - no problems in the past processing data through this setup. As usual, preprocessed the dataset in PixInsight using WBPP. Noticed the stack looked and behaved a bit funny and began to debug by hand preprocessing the dataset. What I found was the following:
After DeBayering the calibrated and cosmetically correct frames, the resulting images, for lack of a better description, have holes in them. See the attached image. I've included images of the raw frame, the calibrated frame, and the cosmetically corrected frame too. I see nothing unusual in the frames before they are DeBayered. In fact, if I DeBayer and save as separate RGB images, these look fine to me too. But as soon as I combine RGB the issues show up again. I've tried eliminating the cosmetic correction step - no difference. For completeness, I did change one thing in my acquisition setup. I added a tilt corrector between the camera and the filter wheel (both ZWO). Prior to this the filter wheel was connected directly to the camera.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
