Howdy all. What, if any, disadvantage is there with going with the short back focus version the 600? I have read something about the dew heater always being on.
Thanks,
Dan

The camera window is closer to the sensor.
When the cooling is very high and its humid there is more of a chance of frost on the window.
I only use the short BF version and only had that once when taking flats with the cooling on when it was raining outside the dome with very high humidity.
Otherwise its fine.
