Hi everyone,
This is your resident dilettante making first contact; I am happy to have found you. I practise guerilla astrophotography: one shot, no guiding, approximate alignment and very basic processing. This is due to (a doux mélange of) laziness, light pollution, lack of time, laziness and crappy skies. But i’m having fun.
I use a 60/355mm refractor and a combination of 1.7x and 2x barlows for planetary, and a f/6.2 flattener for deep sky. I have a modded 7d (400-700nm) and a stock canon M6 (both APS-C). NEQ6 Pro and Teegul III for tracking.
What I find sexy: libration features, spectroscopy, variable stars, anything geek
