Thanks !
You mean that the optics is good and the mirror cell is not good ?

Thats so cool that they are making a 6" ONTC now!  I used to have an 8in ONTC several years ago.  I asked Wolfi to make me a 6in, and after 6 months with my deposit they refunded me and told me that they couldnt pull it together.

Looks like they have decided to do it!  I bet this is a wonderful little scope.  Balance will be tricky, so the focuser and camera will likely need to be on the top of the scope when mounted.

I loved my 8in ONTC.  The only thing that was a must to replace was the focuser.  It was pretty poor back then.

Optics are good but I can't say anything about the rest as it is different from my Photon. I'll hazard a guess about the cell as being from OOUK so it should be good enough.

I do not like to place focuser on the top. Quite ugly ! And not as good as on the bottom from a mechanical point of view. Moreover, it will be a huge problem for my guide scope.
Perhaps a little counter-weight  could help ?

I got mine on top as I need it there to coĺlimate the scope, beside it being awkward to reach manually when focusing. Never noticed problems when guiding.

I have a 10" F4 ONTC and its rock solid. 7mm thick tube. Pretty sure they use the same thickness tubes for all ONTC sizes but a quick email to them can confirm. They use GSO optics but not the holders. Having also had a GSO newt I can tell you that the holders on the ONTC are vastly supperior. Only issue I have ever encountered is the primary mirror clips needed tightening but zero issues since then. I went with the 2" Feather Touch focuser and GPU CC.
