Hello Everyone, I'm Nick, from the upper Sacramento Valley of Northern California. I've been into this passion since Halley's comet first came around in 85, bought my first scope a "6 inch meade reflector" on a manual GEM, and on-n-off continued until I got serious in 2000 and got an 8" Celestron Nexstar GPS" and joined the local astro club "Sacramento valley astronomical society" since then I've dabbled in DSLR imaging, then I sold the 8"and decided to go big and bought an 11" Edge HD Alt-Az "which recently I've deforked and gone to an CGEM EQ mount", and have since decided to "drink the cool-aid" and get into CCD imaging, I just purchase a HyperStar v4 "which because of back order's I'm still waiting on" and also a QHY 163C cooled CCD Cam..So my hopes are that, with time, I'll learn all this new found equipment and software.. So again thanks for allowing me in to astrobin, and I'm sure I learn from you new and seasoned veterans..ClearSky's Nick smile smile
