Hi there,
I recently purchased the IDAS LPS-P3 and I ran a comparison between it and the L-Pro I already own.
The images were taken over 2 straight nights (27th and 28th). Each stack is 160 frames of 120 seconds.
Each stack went through the same pre and post-process which I'll detail below.
The equipment:
Celestron C6 w/6.3 reducer
ASI533MC-Pro
iOptron Gem28
Pre-process using WBPP. Separate channel stacks
Post process:
DBE per channel
LRGB combine
GHS 2.2.0
EZ HDR
Dark Structure enhance
NoiseXterminator
Curves Transformation
L-Pro:

LPS-P3:

Sorry for the poor star shapes. I'm still working on fixing back focus.
Tonight I will shoot with L-Extreme and see what we get.
I will also run this comparison using a HyperStar on a different target which will be interesting as well.
Anyway, even though it's not a scientific comparison by any means, I hope you find this useful.
