Hello from light polluted Portland, Maine.

I have been astronomy for roughly 4 years now but recently made my way into astrophotography over the past year. The more I surround my self with images like the ones on this site, the more excited I get about what is out in space. I am excited to be a part of this community and learn from everyone here. I am currently switching between an 8" SCT and 80mm refractor, coupled with my unmodded Canon T3i.

Welcome to Astrobin,

I am your next door neighbor in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, about 6 hours drive from Portland.
I have been contributing for several years now from a light polluted metropolitan area as well.

Welcome knightowl! I just moved to New England a few months ago, actually. I'm in Boston these days. Always down to meet and shoot with other AP'ers, so let me know if you ever want to connect! I'm 26 and shoot with my ZWO1600, Esprit 100 refractor, and Quattro 8 newtonian on a CEM60.
