Howdy All! While I am new to this forum, I've been peering at the heavens through glass for +45 years. I'm looking to replace my 1000mm Newtonian scope that I bought in the 70's at a yard sale for $50. Over the years, I upgraded to better objective lenses. I have have definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.

I am now in search of my next scope. I am a serious amateur photographer (Pentax K-1,  with 15-30mm 2.8 and 70-200mm 2.8 ED  lenses) so it would be cool to get into astrophotography (I do have Adobe Creative Suite).

Looking to take advantage of the the years of experience on these boards!

Cheers,
Norm
