On my ASI294MC Pro i had some problems with dew when i cooling down the sensor.
I'm seeking to understand if the dew is on the inside side of glass or outside.
I have find two possible solution: dry the dessicant tablets, but i must open the camera, otherwise one Anti-Dew Heater strip.
If someone have fxìix this problem, i ask you wath is the better solution.
Thanks

Well, since I had the same problem here is the answer:

The dew is (was) on the sensor so no point on warming the window. I was cooling at -20 C and it was a recurring problem especially in mild weather. I ordered a new set of dessicant tablets and at the same time dried the older ones off with a microwave oven. Obviously I had to open the camera but that isn't a big deal as long as you avoid doing it in dusty environment. I vacuum-cleaned the window before putting it back and at the same time I kept the sensor as protected from dust as possible during the operation. I since never experienced issues with dewing on the sensor but to be on the safe side I now limit my cooling to -10 C.

Hi folks,
I'm cooling down to - 5°C, not more and had no dew so far.
For me the cooling is enough.
Never had problems with Amp glow……

Usualy i cooling down the sensor at -10°C, in this case i stopped a -3/-5°C but the dew effect is the same, and is visible when i stretch the image.
After your comments i have decide to try for the first step the least invasive step, the Anti-Dew Heater strip, and if not fix, the second one is to
dry/sobstitute the dessicant tablets.

Fabio, change 1 to 2.

There is an instruction how to change / dry these tablets.
No problem…….

I have the same issue with my 294MM. Cooling during spring/summer to -15 celsius will cause this. So during that period, I stick to -10 and tell the software to cool it down in 10 minutes, just to be on the safe side.
