Field Rotators

I'm planning on purchasing a 155mm refractor with a focuser that accepts M92 and M63 threads. This will be for remote use so I'm looking for a field rotator that can go between the focuser and m63 reducer as the reducer doesn't have enough back focus to fit a rotator in front of it. So far the only option I've found that will work is completely replacing the stock focuser for a Nightcrawler. I'm curious if anyone knows of any larger rotators that I am missing.

I have had my eye on the PrimaLuce Lab kit for a while; they make both rotators and focusers, which happily go together

And, at least for Skywatcher, they have custom-built replacements for the entire focuser, like so: https://eu.primalucelab.com/apo-refractors/skywatcher-esprit-100-ed-apochromatic-refractor-with-esatto-3.html  Seems pretty ideal for a remote rig imho. Just a tad pricey ;)

Since you would be using an adapter to go from M92 to M63, I'd consider using a different adapter, like M92 to M54 and use a Pegasus Falcon rotator. PreciseParts.com can make the adapter for you.

I can't believe I forgot about the Arco! I used Esatto on both of my previous RC and have sesto senso 2 on all my other scopes so I am a big fan of Primaluce. I'll look into that.

I did consider that but couldn't find an appropriate m63 to m54 adapter. I'll check that site out, thanks.

If you're going through the PLL route, be aware that it doesn't work with SGP yet. It looks like a driver issue after some discussion with the SGP developer.

But it works fine with NINA. PLL said several times that they are working on it but it's been 3 months…
