The first light with my 183GT revealed there may be a light leak

Here’s a shot of one of my M51 subs (stretched):

Here’s a shot of one of my dark frames:

Has anyone experienced this? What can/ should I do?

Thanks!

It's amp glow, which is normal for this sensor. Calibrates right out, don't worry.

It is not a light leak, it is amp glow.  You can read all about what it is and how to deal with it here.

So this is a usable sub and I should continue as planned?

Honestly, I'd check my focus. Looks a little bit off. But the sensor is doing its job, no light leak.

Did you figure this out? I used to use a 183 plenty. That on the right is amp glow. However, the bottom left corner looks as if it could be a light leak. I don’t ever remember having another glow there.
