My name is Wolfgang Promper
I started with astroimaging with film in the early 90´s and moved to CCD´s around 2001.
I mainly imaged from my backyard here in Austria with frequent trips to Namibia.
Last fall I fullfiled my dream and completed my remote observatory there.
Yesterday I returned from the AIC in San Jose where John Hayes made me aware of Astrobin.
I had a look at all the great images posted here and knew this is the place to be.

Hello Wolfgang,
I am a beginner astro geek.
I have always been very interested in physics and astronomy.
In 2021 I acquired my first telescope, since then I try to do my best with what I can get from the skies of Geneva.
When I can, I go out into the Swiss mountains in search of better skies.

Thank you very much, I´m using ASA Sequence which comes with the mount.
It controls the whole observatory.
