The first was on the use of the EZ-Decon Script in Pixinsight to facilitate the use of deconvolution. That post was published a week or so back.
The second post I promised was an exploration of how to properly use the Wavelet Regularization Parameters found in the deconvolution tool panel.
To that end, I have just published a new article found under my Tips and Techniques section entitled:
"Using Richardson-Lucy Wavelet Regularization Parameters in Pixinsight Deconvolution"
https://cosgrovescosmos.com/tips-n-techniques/using-wavelet-regularization-parameters-in-pi
This post explores these parameters: what they are, what they do, and how to use them to up your deconvolution processing game!
I have found that by using these, I no longer have to use an object mask to protect low signals areas of the image when using deconvolution.
This completes my planned series on Deconvolution! Enjoy!
