Hi -  After lurking for months and loving all of the brilliant photos, I've finally joined.  I moved about a year ago to a dark sky site at 9700 ft of elevation about 5 miles south of Leadville, CO.   Late summer I finally completed an observatory behind the house (Skyshed pod and pier, Celestron Evo 9.25 + HD wedge) and I'm slowly learning astrophotography after many months of visual.

Cheers and clear skies - Don Holmgren

Welcome and I’m super jealous! I live in Centennial, CO and have to drive an hour east out I-70 and go to the Denver Astronomical Society’s EGK Dark Site to get good dark skies.
