Hi there,
I was hooked into astrophotography for about 3 years now. Astrobin was always my main platform to store my astrophotos mainly for the convenience to keep all the gear and sites associated with our profile. In my first two years into astrophotography I had one chance a year in the field, mainly during the Brazilian Astrophotography Meetings. I used to live in a city with heavy light pollution and constant cloud cover (a town by the beach). Since then I moved to the southeast of the country where there are better sky conditions and I managed to set up a roll-off observatory. Having a fixed setup is really a game changer in many aspects. It makes things so much easier. Astrophotography has been a long and steep learning curve and I am nowhere near the end. I was privileged to meet great people along the way and I am sure I will meet many more.
Regards and clear skies to everyone,
E. Oliveira
