I am brand spanking new to astrobin and thought I'd say hello. I've been interested in Astrophotography and the night sky ever since I joined up with the Slooh team in Stanley Idaho for the great solar eclipse. Fast forward a bit and I tried to photograph comet Neowise and quickly realized I needed to up my game, joined the Astrophotography For Beginners FB group and purchased my star tracker shortly after. As most do, I pointed my DSLR and telephoto at Orion and snapped away. It has been about a year now and I've jumped feet first down the rabbit hole with my go-to mount and 8"SCT. I've taken a break on purchases as some home improvements take priority right now but I intend to finally get me a cooled QHY this summer.
