Hi All,

Newbie here. I've been dragged into this hobby of expense by a friend who's been imaging for a couple of years and I'm loving it. Recently purchased some new equipment: SkyWatcher Evostar 72ED, Star Adventurere 2i, and running my old Canon 1300D for now and I am loving it.

Looking forward to sharing with and learning fromyou all.

Good morning, Michael, and welcome to the insane family of astrophotographers. You're going to love the beautiful imagery on Astrobin, and, hopefully, will contribute to it soon. You've signed on with a bunch of great teachers and advisers, too. We've all been through the ranks - many still learning (it's kind of a never-ending process!), and are happy to pass on what we've learned and the mistakes we've made that have led to better and better images.

I'm fairly sure that conditions in Scotland aren't the best for imaging, particularly in the summer, when skies don't really get dark, but there are always things to practice on, even in twilight skies - the Moon and brighter planets, for example.

Welcome, again. Looking forward to your work and experiences.
