Hi from Greater Manchester, UK

Hi all.

Just signed up after watching Nebula Photos' YouTube video.
Looking to get into Astro-Photography and this site looks very promising for help along the way.

Hi, I have nice memories of Manchester. If you are more into the south or east of the GM area mybe you will get less light pollution, otherwise you may consider the use of filters. I am quite sure you already know that this hobby is a long lasting one (and expensive, depending of what you would like to do) so "welcome on board" and wish you clear skies.

I'm located approx 7 miles east of Manchester so I may be luckier than others for the dreaded light pollution.

Not far indeed! Do you know there is a very active astronomy group in Heaton Park... it's a nice bunch of people.. they meet weekly with talks and/or observing sessions.
