I acquire with SGP, using PlateSolve2 which normally works flawlessly to center my target, regardless of optical train. The last two nights however it has crashed – but only when trying to center sh2-240. It's the most bizarre thing – I will slew over to Orion, and no issue. But as soon as I slew back to sh2-240, it crashes as soon as PS2 tries to match images. I went back to several other targets – no issue. Then go back to sh2-240….crash! I'm running everything on Windows 10.
I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone, and can't for the life of me figure out why this star field, and only this star field, causes the program to crash. Any ideas??
