Hi everyone,

I'd like to share my latest image of the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888). This image was created using 1 hour and 45 minutes of usable data. Unfortunately, there were occasional clouds during the session, and the Waxing Gibbous Moon didn't make things any easier. The data was captured from a Bortle 6 location in Belgium.

This is one of my very first astrophotography projects, so I'm still learning and experimenting with both data acquisition and post-processing.

Equipment & Capture Settings

  • Telescope: DWARF 3

  • Exposure: 15-second subs

  • Gain: 80

  • Total Integration: 1 hour 45 minutes

For this image, I used the stacked image generated by the DWARF 3 rather than stacking the data myself. Post-processing and editing were done by me.

I'd really appreciate any opinions, constructive criticism, or processing tips. If you notice anything I could improve—whether it's image acquisition, processing, or anything else—I'd love to hear your suggestions.
