I live in Arizona and all across the four corners and southwest we have great skies and great landscapes. Looking to take advantage to spice up the hobby a bit.

I’m a somewhat experienced traditional Astro photographer. I have a good sense of pixinsight and photoshop. Have some questions and thoughts below regarding equipment, let me know if you have any thoughts.:

1) In terms of style this is the style that I like, I don’t like the overly fake composites. While this is a composite too, it’s much more realistic and true to life. https://alphauniverse.com/stories/how-to-shoot-and-composite-milky-way-landscapes/. As a result I think I’ll be skipping the H Alpha modification? Good idea or mistake?

2) I’d like a 61mp camera. Was considering the sony a7rv refurbished. Unfortunately this would mean I couldn’t use mirrorless lens’s with my Asi 6200mm Pro since they are meant for mirrorless camera backspacing. Should I consider DSLR lens w/ adapter for mirrorless camera to give myself some flexibility? Or would that vignette the image if I used it with a mirrorless camera?

3) For the Milky Way shot do I need to incorporate my HEQ5 pro? For the landscape shot I would need a tripod. Would love some recommendations.
