I’m currently in a workshop until next week where I have access to 3d printers (I have PLA and ASA on the way), laser cutters and a cnc router (for wood). I was wondering what are some upgrades I can do to my 8” Newtonian to get better images?

A mirror mask is always a good idea, some have found a secondary mask to be useful also in order to get a very clean secondary obstruction.

If your optics are already well-collimated, I'd focus on improving stability rather than modifying the telescope itself. A Bahtinov mask, a custom dew shield, cable management clips, and a sturdier finder or camera mount are all practical upgrades you can easily make with a 3D printer or CNC.
