How to get NINA to connect with Maxpoint mount driver

I am trying to transit from SGP to NINA.

Can anyone help with setting up Maxpoint as my mount driver?

It works perfectly with SGP but errs when connecting from NINA…

“Ascom Driver Error

Unable to connect to MaxPoint-iOptron CEM120,70 etc etc mount.

Reason: Object variable or With block variable not set

2026-07 14:53:18”

Any suggestions appreciated!

Normally you set it up via ASCOM interface once the mount is connected to NINA. Question is why would you want to use that program. NINA has blind plate solve embedded into it and you don’t need Maxpoint to achieve that kind of pointing accuracy.
